Global Thermoforming has the experience to provide our marine industry clients the highest quality and most durable products such as boat panels, GPS covers, radomes and more.
We build our own thermoforming tools, thermoforming machines and extrude our own material, which means we can design and develop faster, fix production problems faster, and ensure you meet your deadlines.
We provide a broad array of plastic manufacturing capabilities. Whether your part calls for design, post-production machining, finishing, tooling manufacture, assembly or thermoformed packaging, we can handle all your needs on-site. We’ll make all the components!
Quality is the most important attribute of our vacuum forming company. We take great pride in delivering the best quality in the thermoforming industry. We are constantly striving to improve.
Once your product is delivered, we will be by your side until it is fully integrated with your manufacturing processes. If complications occur, we are available within 24 hours to get it right and have your systems up and running.
Rapid Prototyping. Rapid Production.
Customization does not have to be a headache. At Global Thermoforming, we use our expertise to ensure smooth sailing through the steps of the thermoforming process. Our ISO 9001:2015 certification ensures the details will be prioritized to ensure a quality result you’re satisfied with. Our team has engineers on hand to discuss any questions and design inquiries with you to ensure we are the best match for your project.
Durability That Lasts
Plastics used to manufacture marine equipment need to be top of the line in ensuring precision and long-lasting care. Qualities such as UV-resistant, water-repelling are dominant in the plastics we use. Kydex is a fantastic option for items for marine equipment. The Marine industry has many uses for thermoformed parts. It is highly suitable to partner with a thermoformer who understands that parts need to be able to perform 365 days a year with the least wear possible. Heavy-duty plastics are the perfect choice for marine equipment such as these below.
A radome protects radar antennas from the conditions of the weather. In many instances, this is a large circular dome that is made using thick-gauge thermoforming.
Many parts of a boat can be thermoformed and in fact most panels are. With gloss capabilities in plastics such as ABS, thermoformers are an essential part of the production process.
The body of a jet ski will continuously be exposed to the elements of water and therefore it is critical that water-repelling plastics are used here. Molds are created for the parts such as the hull, and then thermoplastics such as polythene are used in the vacuum forming operations to create the final product.
Similar to boat and jet ski panels, yacht panels go through the same thermoforming processes. Yachts typically require larger parts and we have various machines in our warehouses that can accommodate the large sizes required for yacht panels.
When it comes to marine daily life, exposure to water is unavoidable, and so we also produce thermoformed GPS covers to help with maintenance and ensure long-lasting use.
